The incident began when a visitor pointed out that the Escape Goat exhibit appeared to be absent from the collection. A review of the records confirmed that while the exhibit had been designed, catalogued and photographed, it had somehow failed to appear in the shop itself.<\/p>
In hindsight, assigning responsibility for this oversight to an exhibit specifically dedicated to escaping was perhaps unwise.<\/p>
The goat has now been located, returned to the collection and is available for public viewing.<\/p>
